- Never bypass safety controls, manipulate records, or ignore unsafe conditions.
Confidentiality & Restricted Access
- Protect customer, supplier, employee, commercial, and technical information.
- Mobile phones, cameras, and recording devices are prohibited in restricted production and laboratory areas unless officially authorized.
Company Assets & Technology
- Use company assets, systems, equipment, and funds only for authorized business purposes.
- Protect company data from loss, misuse, and cyber threats.
- Do not disclose confidential information or misrepresent the company on social media.
Accurate Records
- Maintain complete and accurate production, inspection, maintenance, HR, financial, and compliance records.
- Cooperate honestly during audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

Speak Up & Accountability

Business Partner Standards
Purpose & Scope
This Code applies to all suppliers, vendors, contractors, consultants, service providers, recruitment agencies, subcontractors, and their personnel working with ABS Technoshield India Pvt. Ltd. Business partners must also communicate these requirements to any sub-tier suppliers involved in ABS-related work.
Business Partner Requirements
Legal & Contractual Compliance
- Maintain all required registrations, licenses, permits, and statutory records.
- Comply with applicable laws, customer specifications, purchase terms, and site regulations.
Business Integrity
- Prohibit bribery, kickbacks, fraud, facilitation payments, collusion, and improper gifts.
- Declare conflicts of interest and support fair competition.
Human Rights & Fair Labour
- Prohibit child labour, forced labour, bonded labour, and human trafficking.
- Ensure fair wages, legal working hours, equal opportunity, and a workplace free from discrimination or harassment.
Health, Safety & Competency

- Ensure subcontractors comply with the same quality, safety, labour, confidentiality, and environmental standards.
Records & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain evidence of compliance.
- Cooperate during supplier reviews and audits.
- Complete corrective actions within agreed timelines.
Reporting & Consequences
Business partners may report concerns through the designated ABS management or ethics channels without fear of retaliation. Serious, repeated, or unresolved violations may result in corrective action, suspension, supplier disqualification, or contract termination in accordance with applicable laws and agreements.

Policy Statement
ABS Technoshield India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to preventing pollution, workplace injuries, and occupational illnesses while ensuring safe and responsible operations throughout its ABS and PC-ABS Plating on Plastic (POP) manufacturing activities. Environmental, Health & Safety considerations are integrated into planning, procurement, production, maintenance, and operational improvements.
Company Commitments
Compliance & Responsible Planning
- Comply with all environmental, health, and safety laws, permits, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Provide adequate resources and management oversight.
Risk Prevention & Worker Safety
- Identify workplace hazards before work begins.
- Apply engineering controls, training, PPE, ventilation, machine guarding, electrical safety, work permits, and first-aid preparedness.
Chemical & Hazardous Material Management
- Maintain proper storage, labelling, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), compatibility controls, spill prevention measures, and approved disposal practices.
Water & Effluent Management
- Reduce water consumption through controlled rinsing, recycling, and recovery systems.
- Operate wastewater treatment, ETP, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) controls wherever applicable.
Air Emission & Fume Control
- Operate extraction systems, ventilation, scrubbers, preventive maintenance programs, and regular monitoring to minimize emissions.
Waste & Resource Efficiency
- Prevent waste generation where possible.
- Segregate waste properly and utilize authorized recycling and disposal agencies.
- Improve the efficient use of energy, water, chemicals, and metals.
Emergency Preparedness
- Maintain emergency response procedures and safety controls.
- Report incidents and near misses immediately.
- Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions for continual improvement.
Employee Responsibilities
Employees must:
- Follow all SOPs, training requirements, health and safety standards, PPE rules, permits, and emergency procedures.
- Never bypass safety systems or safeguards.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, spills, near misses, incidents, and operational deviations.
Photography, Videography & Recording Policy
Employees shall not take photographs, record videos, or create any audio or visual content within company premises, production areas, laboratories, offices, customer sites, or during company operations without prior written authorization from management. The unauthorized use of cameras, mobile phones, drones, or other recording devices, as well as the sharing of such content on social media or any public platform, is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action.
Vendor & Contractor Responsibilities
All contractors and vendors must:
- Provide competent and trained personnel.
- Conduct risk assessments and safe work planning.
- Control subcontractor activities.
- Report incidents immediately.
- Manage waste responsibly and leave work areas clean and safe.
